MY PROJECTS

Welcome to my photography projects! Here you can see some of our most creative collaborations, where we try out new ideas and styles, as well as various social critiques. Each project tells a story and idea and reflects our passion for capturing unique moments. Check it out and see what we're made of!

Red Photo Project

Rojas

2024

“Rojas” exposes the reality of menstrual syndromes from personal experience. At the age of 15, I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, after facing simplistic answers and limited check-ups since I was 14. This experience made me feel disconnected from other women and revealed the ineffectiveness and lack of attention in gynecological health.

The project seeks to make this silent violence visible and encourage reflection on the need to improve care and give voice to similar stories.

IN THE NAME OF MEN

2023

The oppressions and challenges that men have faced throughout the decades, influenced by changes in public trends and social stigmas. Based on personal experiences of models, friends and acquaintances, it captures stories and internal battles.

Each image shows how social expectations and imposed masculinity have impacted male identity and well-being. Through intimate portraits and symbolic scenes, the project seeks to generate empathy and reflection on social norms and their evolution, highlighting the need for a space for authentic expression.

Voguing photography project

VOGUING

2021

Voguing, an artistic expression born in the African-American and Latino LGBTQ+ community of New York in the 70s and 80s. This dance, with stylized movements and dramatic poses, emerged in the salons of Harlem, was a response to discrimination and a refuge for self-expression.

The images highlight voguing as art and resistance, capturing the strength and elegance of its protagonists and their fight for equality.

The project honors pioneers and those who continue their legacy, demonstrating that art flourishes in adversity.
